Amanda Bossard was just out her high school days when she started her studies in marine biology at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage. Bossard began her profession as a commercial seafood worker in the year 1999. Bossard began working with the ship F/V Sunset which was a 65' halibut schooner which was converted into a tender for salmon in the name of Murat Aritan who had been working in commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard has married Aritan. The couple has come together and have claimed their respective industries. Both of them are proponents of saving and maximizing the use of sustainable resources within the fishing industry.
